Shell adopted Binding Corporate Rules (PDF, 327 kB)

which provide a privacy compliance framework that has been approved by the Dutch Data Protection Authority, such that Shell companies are able to lawfully transfer the personal data of their European employees and customers to other Shell group companies in compliance with EU data protection law.

Information for individuals who are or have been retail customers, members of a Shell loyalty programme, visitors to a Shell website and/or users of a Shell digital application.

Business customer, supplier, partner or investor

Information for people connected with our business (B2B) customers, suppliers, business partners, stakeholders and/or investors.

Current or former Shell employee, contractor or dependent

Information for individuals who are or have been employees, interns or individual contractors, as well as dependents of Shell employees.

Job applicant

Information for people applying for a job or attending a recruitment event or undergoing an assessment with Shell.
